JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD.

Jesus Christ has always existed, and He is the only begotten Son of God. He took on the form of flesh, yet He knew no sin. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is both true God, and He is also true man. We can only know God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Luke 1:30-35, John 1:1-15, Philippians 2:5-8, Colossians 1:15)

THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD.

God used various men to write down His Word. These men were given each and every word to write from the Holy Spirit of God. The Bible is a completely perfect Book. It has always existed, and God has preserved and translated it into many languages. The King James Bible is the perfect Word of God that has been translated for the English-speaking people. (2 Timothy 3:16)

THE CHURCH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST.

Since Jesus is the head of the church, each independent, local church only has an obligation to submit to the authority of Christ. A local church is a group of believers who have been baptized by immersion. The church's purpose is  to edify and exhort the saints to serve the Lord by being a witness of Him. (Mark 16:15; I Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 1:22, 23)

The Baptist Name
People often are curious about being a Baptist. There is a common idea that we are a Protestant church or are named after John the Baptist, but history does not align with these ideas. The truth is that we were not always called Baptists. The early believers were first called Christians by the non-believers of that time. As the churches continued through the first several centuries, their names were often tied to their location or their pastor.
FAITH IS THE WAY OF SALVATION.

Although God wants every man to spend eternity with Him, our sin condemns us. Sin entered this world when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. We are all born with a nature to sin, and no amount of good works is enough to earn Heaven. Jesus Christ paid our sin debt on the cross, and we receive salvation through faith in Him. (Romans 6:23, 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9)

THE END IS THE RETURN OF CHRIST

Jesus is going to come again and call His believers home. Those who remain on earth will endure a time of tribulation. After that time, Jesus will return with His followers to earth and reign for a thousand years. At the conclusion of His reign, the earth will be destroyed, and He will create a new Heaven and a new earth. (Matthew 24:29-42; I Thess 4:16-18; Revelation 19:11-20:15).

OUR GOD IS A TRIUNE GOD.

God is a physical Person. Mankind was created in His image. God exists in three Persons - God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. While these are three Individuals, They are one God. All Three eternally exist and are without sin. It is impossible for these Three to disagree with each other. The Holy Spirit dwells within the all believers. (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; I Cor 8:6
