Our VBS is geared toward ages 4-12. Three year olds must be potty trained to attend. Parents are always welcome to observe any part of the daily session.
Snacks and drinks will be provided each day. If your child can read, it would be great for them to bring a Bible if they have one. Nothing else is needed.
VBS is a 3-hour rush of exciting activities for the kids. We start with games and songs, and then we mix in skits, illusions, crafts, snacks, prizes, & lessons.
It starts on Monday, July 7, and it ends on Friday, July 11. Each session starts at 9:00am and ends at noon. If you need to drop-off before 8:30am, please contact us. Partial sign-ups are allowed.
Each year, we have roughly fifteen to twenty volunteers from our church who take time from their normal schedule to assist with VBS. The pastor is the director.
It's become our yearly VBS tradition to close the week out with a pizza party on Friday afternoon. We will wrap up our Friday VBS session at 11:30am, and then we will provide pizza and ice cream to all of our VBS participants. We would love for the participant's entire family to join us for this meal if they are able to. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet all of the members of our VBS team and to ask any questions that they might have.
General Info: The cost of VBS is covered by the members of Calvary Baptist Church. We do not ask anything at all from the participants. We are happy to provide a fun summer program that children can participate in. To make VBS more accessible, we do offer free transportation to and from each daily session. If you sign up for transportation, a member of the VBS team will reach out to you at a later point to schedule your pick-up time. We understand that children may have special needs.
